Aceclofenac (100mg) + Paracetamol (325mg)
Active composition
+1 more active ingredient
Aceclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.
Medical applications
Zerodizire P Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. The synergistic action of these two components provides effective relief from mild to moderate pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, dental pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and postoperative pain. Zerodizire P Tablet is generally well-tolerated; however, caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or paracetamol. It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, and known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. The medication should be used under medical supervision, adhering to prescribed dosages to minimize potential adverse effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, hepatotoxicity, or allergic reactions. Regular monitoring may be necessary during prolonged therapy.
