Zentobf Eye Drop is a sterile ophthalmic solution containing Tobramycin (0.3% w/v) and Fluorometholone (0.1% w/v), formulated for the treatment of bacterial ocular infections accompanied by inflammation. Tobramycin is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against a variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and thereby eliminating infectious agents.

Fluorometholone is a corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory properties that reduce ocular inflammation, edema, and discomfort associated with bacterial conjunctivitis and other inflammatory eye conditions. The combination of these active ingredients allows for simultaneous management of infection and inflammation, promoting faster symptomatic relief and recovery. Zentobf Eye Drop is indicated for bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other superficial ocular infections where inflammation is present.
It should be used with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides or corticosteroids, and prolonged use may increase the risk of corticosteroid-related adverse effects such as elevated intraocular pressure or cataract formation. Proper administration involves instilling one or two drops into the affected eye(s) every four to six hours, as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
Patients should adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and duration to prevent resistance and ensure therapeutic efficacy.
