The formulation is designed for topical ocular administration, ensuring targeted delivery with minimal systemic absorption. Esenlote Eye Drop should be used under medical supervision, with dosing tailored according to the severity of the condition and patient response. Common administration involves instilling one to two drops into the affected eye(s) two to four times daily. Prolonged use may increase the risk of elevated intraocular pressure, glaucoma, cataract formation, or secondary ocular infections; therefore, regular monitoring by an ophthalmologist is recommended.
Patients should avoid contact lens use during treatment unless advised otherwise. Esenlote Eye Drop is contraindicated in viral, fungal, or mycobacterial ocular infections. Caution is advised in patients with a history of steroid-induced ocular hypertension. How to use Esenlote Ophthalmic Suspension This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
