Zensita 50mg Tablet

It may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin. The recommended dose is 50mg once daily, taken orally, with or without food. Dose adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal impairment. Zensita is generally well tolerated; common adverse effects include nasopharyngitis, headache, and upper respiratory tract infections.

Rare but serious side effects include pancreatitis and hypersensitivity reactions. Regular monitoring of blood glucose and renal function is advised during therapy. Zensita does not cause hypoglycemia when used alone but caution is advised when combined with other hypoglycemic agents.
