Zedonac Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Diclofenac 50mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) provides analgesic and antipyretic effects primarily through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

This synergistic combination is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dental pain, postoperative pain, and other inflammatory conditions. Zedonac Tablet offers rapid onset of pain relief while minimizing the dosage of each component, potentially reducing adverse effects compared to monotherapy.

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac, paracetamol, NSAIDs, or any excipients, and should be used cautiously in individuals with hepatic, renal, or cardiovascular impairment. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, dizziness, and rarely, hepatotoxicity or hypersensitivity reactions. Patients should adhere to prescribed dosages and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.

Zedonac Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation unless clearly indicated by a physician.
