Zanvia 100 Tablet

This dual action helps to improve glycemic control without causing significant hypoglycemia. Zanvia 100 is prescribed as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic parameters in adults with type 2 diabetes, either as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin. The tablet is administered orally, typically once daily, with or without food.

Clinical studies have demonstrated that Sitagliptin effectively reduces HbA1c levels and fasting plasma glucose, contributing to long-term diabetes management. It is generally well tolerated, with a low incidence of adverse effects; however, patients should be monitored for potential hypersensitivity reactions, pancreatitis, and renal function alterations. Zanvia 100 should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment, and dose adjustments may be necessary.

It is contraindicated in patients with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
