Yuvidoc-TH Gel is a topical formulation combining Diclofenac (1.0% w/w), Linseed Oil (3.0% w/w), Menthol (5.0% w/w), Methyl Salicylate (10.0% w/w), and Thiocolchicoside (0.125% w/w), designed for the management of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Linseed Oil contributes anti-inflammatory properties and supports skin hydration. Menthol imparts a cooling sensation that helps alleviate pain through counter-irritation and sensory nerve modulation. Methyl Salicylate acts as a topical analgesic with rubefacient effects, enhancing local blood flow and promoting relief from muscle stiffness. Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant, aids in reducing muscle spasms by acting on glycine and GABA receptors in the central nervous system.
