Yuvidoc-Gel is a topical analgesic formulation combining Diclofenac (1.0% w/w), Linseed Oil (3.0% w/w), Menthol (5% w/w), and Methyl Salicylate (10% w/w) designed for the relief of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis and alleviating pain and inflammation at the site of application. Linseed Oil, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, provides additional anti-inflammatory benefits and aids in skin nourishment. Menthol imparts a cooling sensation through activation of transient receptor potential melastatin 8 (TRPM8) channels, which helps to soothe discomfort and improve local blood circulation. Methyl Salicylate acts as a counterirritant, producing a warming effect that further assists in pain relief by distracting from deeper musculoskeletal pain. Yuvidoc-Gel is indicated for conditions such as arthritis, muscle strains, sprains, backache, and other soft tissue injuries.
