XREL Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever, though its exact mechanism remains partially understood.

The synergistic action of these two active ingredients provides effective relief from mild to moderate pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries. XREL Tablet is indicated for the management of acute pain conditions including dental pain, postoperative pain, and dysmenorrhea.

It is generally well tolerated when used as directed; however, caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and cardiovascular disease. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and dizziness. XREL Tablet should be administered under medical supervision, adhering to prescribed dosages to minimize potential risks.

It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs.
