Xeplonac-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac (100mg), Paracetamol (325mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15mg). Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol contributes to analgesia and antipyresis through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of inflammation and edema. This combination is indicated for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dental pain, postoperative inflammation, and soft tissue injuries.
