Wyrob Tablet contains Ornidazole 500 mg, an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent primarily used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Ornidazole belongs to the nitroimidazole class of drugs and exerts its therapeutic effect by disrupting the DNA synthesis of susceptible microorganisms, leading to their death. Wyrob Tablet is commonly prescribed for the management of various infections including amoebiasis, giardiasis, trichomoniasis, and bacterial vaginosis, as well as anaerobic bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary system, skin, and soft tissues.

It is also effective in the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease and postoperative infections.
