Wokadine Germicide Gargle acts by releasing free iodine, which rapidly penetrates microbial cell walls, disrupting protein and nucleic acid structure and function, leading to microbial death. The solution should be used as a gargle or mouthwash, typically diluted as per instructions, and used for 30 seconds to 1 minute before expectoration.
