Winglad FSH 75 Injection contains Urofollitropin, a purified follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) preparation with an activity of 75 IU per vial. It is indicated for use in assisted reproductive technologies and other fertility treatments to stimulate follicular development in women with anovulation or oligo-ovulation who do not have primary ovarian failure. Winglad FSH 75 Injection acts by promoting the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles, thereby enhancing the chances of ovulation and conception.

It is also used in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation protocols for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and other assisted reproductive techniques. The dosage and duration of treatment are individualized based on patient response, monitored through ultrasound and serum estradiol levels to minimize the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Administration is via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, typically once daily.
Contraindications include primary ovarian failure, ovarian cysts unrelated to polycystic ovary syndrome, uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction, and hypersensitivity to urofollitropin or any component of the formulation. Caution is advised in patients with a history of ovarian hyperstimulation or multiple pregnancies. Proper medical supervision is essential to optimize therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse effects.
