Ofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, targets gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria by inhibiting DNA gyrase, thereby preventing bacterial replication. Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative, exhibits potent activity against anaerobic protozoa and bacteria by disrupting DNA synthesis. Itraconazole, a triazole antifungal agent, impedes ergosterol synthesis essential for fungal cell membrane integrity, effectively treating dermatophytic and yeast infections. Clobetasol propionate, a potent corticosteroid, provides anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, reducing erythema, swelling, and itching associated with inflammatory skin conditions.
