Wayflam-P Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. This synergistic formulation is indicated for the management of various musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other conditions associated with acute pain and inflammation. Wayflam-P provides effective relief from pain, swelling, and stiffness, improving patient mobility and quality of life. It is generally well tolerated; however, caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or paracetamol. Concomitant use with other NSAIDs or hepatotoxic drugs should be avoided. The dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on clinical response and patient tolerance. Patients are advised to take the tablet with food to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort. Regular monitoring may be necessary during prolonged use to detect potential adverse effects.
