Chlorhexidine Gluconate, a broad-spectrum antiseptic, provides sustained antimicrobial action by disrupting microbial cell membranes, thereby reducing plaque formation and controlling oral microflora. The synergistic combination of these active ingredients makes Ornihex Mouth Gel effective in reducing oral microbial load, alleviating pain, inflammation, and promoting healing of mucosal lesions.
It is indicated for use in conditions such as gingivitis, periodontitis, oral ulcers, post-dental surgery care, and other inflammatory oral mucosal diseases. The gel formulation ensures prolonged contact with the affected mucosa, enhancing therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance. Ornihex Mouth Gel should be applied topically to the affected area, typically two to three times daily, as directed by a healthcare professional.
