Orcerin Capsule

Orcerin Capsule is indicated for patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee or other joints, particularly when long-term symptomatic relief is desired. It is generally administered orally, with the recommended dosage being one capsule twice daily, preferably after meals to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort. The onset of clinical benefit may take several weeks, reflecting its disease-modifying properties rather than immediate analgesic effects.

Common adverse effects include mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and soft stools, which are typically transient. Caution is advised in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, and it is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to Diacerein or anthraquinone derivatives. Orcerin Capsule should be used under medical supervision, with periodic monitoring to assess efficacy and tolerability.

It is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation due to insufficient safety data.
