Oleno-MD 10 is effective in managing acute and maintenance phases of schizophrenia, reducing hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking. It is also used in the treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar I disorder, either as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy with mood stabilizers. The tablet should be administered orally once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
Common adverse effects include sedation, weight gain, increased appetite, dry mouth, and extrapyramidal symptoms, though the incidence of movement disorders is generally lower compared to typical antipsychotics.
