Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain and inflammation. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, providing gastroprotection and reducing the risk of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers.
