Nucoxia 90 Tablet contains Etoricoxib 90 mg, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor used primarily for the management of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gouty arthritis. By selectively inhibiting the COX-2 enzyme, Nucoxia 90 reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in inflammation and pain, thereby providing effective symptomatic relief while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects commonly associated with non-selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medication is indicated for patients requiring long-term anti-inflammatory therapy or short-term management of acute musculoskeletal pain. Nucoxia 90 should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Etoricoxib, active peptic ulcer disease, severe hepatic impairment, or established ischemic heart disease.
