Nucib-P Tablet contains a combination of Etoricoxib 60 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg, formulated for the effective management of pain and inflammation. Etoricoxib is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that provides anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by selectively blocking the COX-2 enzyme, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in pain and inflammation. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a widely used analgesic and antipyretic agent that acts centrally to alleviate mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. The synergistic action of these two agents makes Nucib-P Tablet suitable for the treatment of various musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gouty arthritis, as well as for managing postoperative pain and dental pain. Nucib-P offers rapid onset of pain relief with a favorable gastrointestinal safety profile compared to non-selective NSAIDs, due to the selective inhibition of COX-2 by Etoricoxib. It is recommended to be used under medical supervision, especially in patients with cardiovascular risk factors, hepatic or renal impairment. Dosage should be individualized based on the severity of symptoms and patient response, with caution to avoid exceeding the maximum recommended daily dose to prevent adverse effects.
