This synergistic combination is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens, including resistant strains. N-Xone TZ Injection is indicated for serious infections such as lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, septicemia, and bone and joint infections. It is administered via intramuscular or intravenous routes, ensuring rapid systemic absorption and therapeutic plasma concentrations.
Dosage and duration of therapy should be guided by the severity of infection, renal function, and clinical response. Caution is advised in patients with hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics. Common adverse effects may include local injection site reactions, gastrointestinal disturbances, and hypersensitivity reactions.
