Medical applications
Moxivisc Eye Drop is a topical ophthalmic solution containing Moxifloxacin (0.5% w/v), a potent fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent. Indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, it provides effective therapy against a broad spectrum of gram-negative and gram-positive organisms commonly implicated in ocular infections. Its low pH and preservative-free formulation reduces ocular irritation and promotes corneal penetration, enhancing its therapeutic efficacy.
The product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin or any of its components. As with other antibacterial drugs, use of Moxivisc Eye Drop may lead to bacterial resistance. Proper administration and follow-up are essential to minimize the risk of adverse effects and ensure successful treatment.
