Medical applications
Moxezar-LP Eye Drop is a sterile, preservative-free, and isotonic solution for ophthalmic use. Each mL of the solution contains 5.0mg of Loteprednol etabonate, a corticosteroid, and 5.0mg of Moxifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is indicated for the treatment of post-operative inflammation and pain, and for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions such as uveitis, blepharitis, and conjunctivitis. Moxezar-LP Eye Drop is also effective in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Use in pregnant or lactating women should be avoided unless the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk. Common adverse reactions include eye pain, burning, and stinging. If these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinuation of the product should be considered.
How to use Moxezar-LP Ophthalmic Suspension This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
