Medical applications
Moxap LP Eye Drop is a sterile, preservative-free, aqueous solution for topical ophthalmic use. Each mL of the solution contains loteprednol etabonate 0.5% w/v and moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v. It is indicated for the treatment of conjunctivitis, including bacterial and inflammatory components, as well as for the treatment of post-operative conjunctival inflammation. The product combines the anti-inflammatory properties of loteprednol etabonate with the antibacterial activity of moxifloxacin, providing a broad-spectrum therapeutic effect. The loteprednol etabonate component helps to reduce the inflammation and pain associated with conjunctivitis, while the moxifloxacin component targets a wide range of bacteria, including Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Moraxella catarrhalis. Moxap LP Eye Drop is administered three to four times a day, and the recommended treatment duration is up to 7 days. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of herpes simplex keratitis or fungal keratitis, and in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components.
How to use Moxap LP Eye Drop This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
