The recommended dose is 2.5 mL every 8 hours, with a maximum daily dose of 10 mL. The product is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to penicillin-type antibiotics, and caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney or liver impairment. The most common adverse reactions reported during clinical trials include diarrhea, vomiting, and rash.
