MOVon Tablet is a prescription-only medication containing Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), in a strength of 100mg per tablet. It is indicated for the relief of pain, inflammation, and swelling in patients with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemical messengers involved in pain and inflammation. The medication is administered orally, typically twice daily, and its onset of action is typically seen within 30-60 minutes. The duration of action is typically 8-12 hours. Common side effects include gastrointestinal disturbances, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, as well as headache, dizziness, and insomnia. Rare but serious side effects include cardiovascular risk, gastrointestinal ulcers, and bleeding. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease or bleeding, as well as those taking anticoagulants or corticosteroids, should be monitored closely. MOVon Tablet is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Aceclofenac or other NSAIDs.
