Movexx MR Tablet is a combination medication indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, inflammation, and fever. Each tablet contains Aceclofenac 100mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing pain and inflammation. Paracetamol 325mg, a synthetic analgesic and antipyretic, contributes to the analgesic and antipyretic effects. Chlorzoxazone 250mg, a muscle relaxant, helps to relieve muscle stiffness and spasms. The slow-release matrix of Movexx MR Tablet allows for extended release of the active ingredients over 6-8 hours, providing sustained pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects. The medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, history of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, and severe liver or kidney impairment. As with all NSAIDs, Movexx MR Tablet may increase the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration, bleeding, and cardiovascular events. It is recommended to use the lowest effective dose and duration of treatment necessary to achieve pain relief and inflammation control.
