The tablet's onset of action is rapid, with peak effects typically observed within 30-60 minutes of administration. The duration of action is approximately 4-6 hours. Monit 10 Tablet is available in a standardized tablet form, easy to swallow and administer. The recommended dosage is one tablet every 8-12 hours, as needed, up to a maximum of three tablets per day. Patients should be monitored for signs of nitrate tolerance, and the medication should be used with caution in those with severe left ventricular dysfunction, hypotension, or recent myocardial infarction.
