Aceclofenac (100mg) + Paracetamol (325mg)
Active composition
+1 more active ingredient
Aceclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.
Medical applications
Molace Tablet is a combination of Aceclofenac (100mg) and Paracetamol (325mg) indicated for the relief of moderate to severe pain, inflammation, and fever. The unique dual-action formula targets multiple pain pathways, providing rapid and sustained pain relief. Aceclofenac, a propionic acid derivative, inhibits prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation and pain, while Paracetamol, a well-established analgesic and antipyretic, provides additional pain relief through its central and peripheral mechanisms. The synergistic combination of these two active ingredients enables Molace Tablet to effectively manage a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and postoperative pain. The tablet is designed for adult patients, with a recommended dose of one tablet every 8-12 hours as needed, not exceeding three tablets in 24 hours. Molace Tablet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe hepatic impairment.
