Medical applications
Moflox 200mg Tablet is a prescription-only medicine containing Ofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections. Moflox 200mg Tablet is also effective against infections caused by susceptible strains of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus.
The medicine works by inhibiting DNA gyrase, an enzyme essential for bacterial DNA replication, thereby preventing bacterial growth and multiplication. Moflox 200mg Tablet is available in the form of a film-coated tablet, which should be taken with or without food at a dose of 200mg every 12 hours for 7-14 days, depending on the severity and type of infection. Patients should be advised to complete the full course of treatment to ensure the infection is fully cleared.
As with any antibiotic, the use of Moflox 200mg Tablet should be preceded by a thorough medical evaluation, and the medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of seizures or other central nervous system disorders.
