Moca 625 Tablet is a fixed-dose combination product containing Amoxycillin (500mg) and Clavulanic Acid (125mg). This antibacterial agent is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary, and soft tissue infections. The combination of Amoxycillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin, and Clavulanic Acid, an inhibitor of beta-lactamase enzymes, enhances the bactericidal activity of Amoxycillin against beta-lactamase-producing microorganisms. Moca 625 Tablet is effective against a range of susceptible bacterial pathogens, including Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Moraxella catarrhalis, as well as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Proteus mirabilis. The recommended dosage is one tablet every 8 hours, with a maximum duration of 14 days. Moca 625 Tablet is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics. Caution is advised in patients with renal impairment, as accumulation of the medication may occur.
