Mirakem S 25mg/5mg Tablet is a fixed-dose combination product containing mirabegron, a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist, and solifenacin, a selective muscarinic receptor antagonist. This oral therapy is indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urgency, frequency, and nocturia. Mirabegron's beta-3 receptor activation stimulates detrusor muscle relaxation, reducing bladder contractions and increasing functional bladder capacity.

Simultaneously, solifenacin's selective muscarinic receptor antagonism blocks the effects of acetylcholine on the bladder and urethra, thereby reducing detrusor muscle contractions and urinary frequency. The combination of mirabegron and solifenacin in Mirakem S 25mg/5mg Tablet provides a synergistic therapeutic effect, addressing the complex pathophysiology of OAB. The recommended dosage is one tablet once daily, with or without food.
As with any medication, patients should be counseled on the potential risks and benefits, including the possibility of anticholinergic adverse effects, such as dry mouth, constipation, and blurred vision.
