Mimex 50 Dry Syrup is a pale yellow to yellow syrup with a characteristic odour, available in a 60 milliliters bottle. The product is administered orally, usually every 12 hours, for a duration of 7-14 days, depending on the severity and nature of the infection. The recommended dose for adults and children weighing more than 50 kilograms is 200 milligrams (4 milliliters) every 12 hours. Mimex 50 Dry Syrup is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cefixime or other cephalosporins. Patients with impaired kidney function, pregnant women, and nursing mothers should use the product under close medical supervision. As with all antimicrobial agents, prolonged or repeated use of Mimex 50 Dry Syrup may lead to the emergence of resistant bacteria.
