Mifisure 10 Tablet is a prescription medication containing 10mg of Mifepristone, an anti-progesterone agent. It is indicated for the treatment of recurrent miscarriage (RM) in women with unexplained RM who have had at least two consecutive miscarriages, and for the termination of intrauterine pregnancy up to 49 days of gestation. Mifisure 10 Tablet works by blocking the action of progesterone, a hormone that maintains pregnancy, thereby terminating the pregnancy. It should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare provider, and in cases where medical termination of pregnancy is indicated. The medication is contraindicated in women with known or suspected ectopic pregnancy, active genital tract bleeding, or those who have used Mifisure 10 Tablet for termination of pregnancy. Common side effects include bleeding, nausea, vomiting, and pelvic pain. Serious side effects include septic shock, pelvic infection, and ectopic pregnancy. Mifisure 10 Tablet should be used with caution in women with a history of bleeding disorders, liver or kidney disease, or who are taking anticoagulant therapy.
