Mexora-D Tablet is a prescription medication indicated for the treatment of acute pain and relief of muscle spasms. Each tablet contains 50mg of Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and 400mg of Metaxalone, a muscle relaxant. Diclofenac exerts its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting prostaglandins and thromboxane synthesis, thereby reducing pain and inflammation. Metaxalone, on the other hand, works by acting on the central nervous system to relax muscles and reduce muscle spasms. The combination of these two active ingredients provides effective relief from acute pain and muscle spasms, making Mexora-D Tablet a valuable treatment option for patients experiencing these symptoms. The recommended adult dosage is one tablet every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
