Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, aids in the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and inflammation. This combination is indicated for the management of acute musculoskeletal pain, postoperative pain, dental pain, and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Medflam Tablet offers a synergistic effect by targeting multiple pathways involved in pain and inflammation, enhancing therapeutic efficacy while minimizing the dose-related adverse effects associated with individual components.
