By selectively blocking alpha-1 receptors in the smooth muscle of the prostate and bladder neck, Silodosin facilitates muscle relaxation, thereby improving urinary flow and reducing symptoms associated with BPH such as urinary frequency, urgency, and nocturia.

Maxvoid 4mg is typically administered orally once daily, with or without food, and dosage adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal impairment. The pharmacological action of Silodosin helps alleviate lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) by decreasing bladder outlet obstruction without significantly affecting blood pressure, owing to its high receptor selectivity.
