Mavdol-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic formulation containing Diclofenac 50 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 10 mg, designed to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of the prostaglandin synthesis pathway in the central nervous system. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and inflammation. This combination is particularly beneficial in managing musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, dental pain, and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Mavdol-SP Tablet offers rapid and sustained analgesia while minimizing the risk of gastrointestinal side effects commonly associated with NSAIDs alone, due to the synergistic action of its components. It should be used under medical supervision, with caution advised in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment.
