Mach-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac (100mg), Paracetamol (325mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15mg). Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides effective relief from pain and inflammation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, offering symptomatic relief from mild to moderate pain and fever through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the reduction of inflammation and edema by breaking down inflammatory mediators and promoting tissue repair. This combination is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries such as sprains and strains. Mach-SP Tablet is also beneficial in postoperative and post-traumatic pain where inflammation and swelling are predominant. It should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to any component, active gastrointestinal ulcers, or severe hepatic or renal impairment. Caution is advised in patients with cardiovascular disease or bleeding disorders.
