M2H CV 625 Tablet is a combination antibiotic formulation containing Amoxycillin 500 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg. Amoxycillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the efficacy of Amoxycillin by preventing the degradation of the antibiotic by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria. This synergistic combination is effective against a wide range of aerobic and anaerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including strains resistant to Amoxycillin alone. M2H CV 625 Tablet is indicated for the treatment of various infections such as respiratory tract infections (including sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, otitis media, and dental infections. The dosage and duration of therapy should be determined by the severity and type of infection, as well as patient-specific factors such as renal function and age. Common side effects may include gastrointestinal disturbances like nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort. Hypersensitivity reactions, although rare, may occur in penicillin-sensitive individuals.
