Lupirtin-P Tablet is a combination analgesic formulation containing Flupirtine 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg, designed for the effective management of moderate to severe pain. Flupirtine, a centrally acting non-opioid analgesic, exerts its effect by modulating neuronal excitability through potassium channel opening and NMDA receptor antagonism, providing muscle-relaxant and neuroprotective properties without typical opioid-related adverse effects. Paracetamol, a widely used antipyretic and analgesic agent, enhances the analgesic efficacy of Flupirtine by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, thereby reducing pain and fever. Lupirtin-P is indicated for the relief of musculoskeletal pain, postoperative pain, and other acute painful conditions where combination therapy is warranted. The synergistic action of Flupirtine and Paracetamol offers rapid onset and sustained pain relief while minimizing the risk of gastrointestinal irritation commonly associated with NSAIDs.
