Lupin Mira 50 Tablet ER contains Mirabegron 50 mg, a selective β3-adrenoceptor agonist indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency. Mirabegron works by relaxing the detrusor smooth muscle during the storage phase of the urinary bladder fill-void cycle, thereby increasing bladder capacity without impairing voiding function.

This extended-release formulation ensures a consistent plasma concentration, enhancing therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance through once-daily dosing. Clinical studies have demonstrated that Mirabegron significantly reduces the number of micturitions and incontinence episodes, improving quality of life in affected patients. It is generally well tolerated, with common adverse effects including hypertension, nasopharyngitis, and headache.
Caution is advised in patients with severe uncontrolled hypertension and those with renal or hepatic impairment, as dose adjustments may be necessary. Lupin Mira 50 Tablet ER should be used under medical supervision, with regular monitoring of blood pressure and renal function recommended during therapy. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Mirabegron or any excipients.
