Luhar-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac (100 mg), Paracetamol (325 mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15 mg). Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides effective relief from pain and inflammation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, offering symptomatic relief from mild to moderate pain and fever through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and swelling, enhancing tissue repair. This synergistic combination is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries including sprains, strains, and post-operative inflammation. Luhar-SP Tablet is generally well tolerated; however, it should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, liver or kidney impairment, and hypersensitivity to any component. It is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy and in patients with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs. The dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on clinical response and patient tolerance, under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
