Thiocolchicoside acts as a muscle relaxant by selectively inhibiting glycine and GABA receptors, thereby reducing muscle spasms and associated discomfort. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol contributes additional analgesic and antipyretic properties through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, enhancing overall pain relief.

The combined action of these three agents offers effective symptomatic relief from pain, inflammation, and muscle stiffness. Loyfenac TP 4 is generally well-tolerated when used as directed; however, caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or any component of the formulation.
