Loteflox Eye Drop

Loteprednol etabonate acts by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and discomfort, while Moxifloxacin exerts bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes, effectively targeting Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. The combination provides a dual therapeutic effect, addressing both inflammation and infection simultaneously, which is essential in managing complex ocular conditions.

Loteflox Eye Drop is generally well tolerated; however, patients should use it under medical supervision to monitor for potential side effects such as increased intraocular pressure, delayed wound healing, or hypersensitivity reactions. It is contraindicated in viral, fungal, or mycobacterial eye infections. Proper administration involves instilling the prescribed number of drops into the conjunctival sac, avoiding contamination of the dropper tip.
