Lonopin 60mg Injection contains Enoxaparin sodium, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant to prevent and treat thromboembolic disorders. Enoxaparin exerts its effect by enhancing the inhibition of factor Xa and to a lesser extent factor IIa (thrombin), thereby reducing the formation of fibrin clots. This injectable formulation is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and in the management of acute coronary syndromes such as unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction.

Lonopin 60mg Injection is administered subcutaneously, with dosing individualized based on patient weight, renal function, and clinical condition. It is essential to monitor patients for signs of bleeding or thrombocytopenia during therapy. Contraindications include active major bleeding, hypersensitivity to enoxaparin or heparin, and patients with a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia.
