Lofidol-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic formulation containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 15 mg, designed to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its action by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis, which leads to decreased inflammation and pain. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and swelling by enhancing fibrinolytic activity. The synergistic effect of these three components makes Lofidol-SP effective in managing musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and soft tissue injuries including sprains and strains. It is also beneficial in postoperative pain and inflammatory conditions. The combination ensures rapid onset of analgesia with sustained anti-inflammatory benefits while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects commonly associated with NSAIDs alone.
