Liralin Tablet

This mechanism contributes to improved glycemic control without causing significant hypoglycemia or weight gain. Liralin is recommended as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes, either as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin. The tablet is administered orally once daily, with or without food.

Linagliptin is characterized by a favorable pharmacokinetic profile, including a long half-life and predominantly non-renal elimination, making dose adjustment unnecessary in patients with renal impairment. Common adverse effects are generally mild and may include nasopharyngitis, headache, and upper respiratory tract infections. Liralin should be used cautiously in patients with a history of pancreatitis, and regular monitoring of glycemic parameters is advised to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
