Ktniv-DT Tablet contains Ketorolac 10mg, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. Ketorolac exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation, pain, and fever. Ktniv-DT is commonly used postoperatively or in conditions requiring effective analgesia when opioid use is to be minimized.

It provides significant analgesic efficacy comparable to moderate doses of opioids without the associated risk of respiratory depression or dependence. The tablet formulation facilitates convenient oral administration, ensuring rapid onset of action. Ktniv-DT should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible, typically not exceeding 5 days, to reduce the risk of adverse effects such as gastrointestinal irritation, bleeding, renal impairment, and cardiovascular events.
It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal bleeding, renal impairment, or hypersensitivity to ketorolac or other NSAIDs. Caution is advised in elderly patients and those with comorbid conditions. Patients should avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants unless directed by a healthcare professional. Ktniv-DT is a valuable analgesic option when used appropriately under medical supervision.
